Latest Update on the National Population Census Exercise 2024
Today the Chairman of National Population Commission, Hon. Nasir Isa Kwarra was at the National Assembly where he defended the Commission’s 2024 Budget which is the stepping stone to the National Population Census exercise that is going to take place in the year 2024.
The Population and Housing Census exercise is in the 2024 National Budget.
Candidates waiting for the census should bear it in their mind that the census exercise is going to hold in the year 2024 after the passing of the National budget.

Today, the Chairman of National Population Commission, Hon. Nasir Isa Kwarra, fnsa, successfully defended the Commission’s 2024 Budget estimates before the House of Representatives Committee on Population at the National Assembly Complex, Abuja.
The Chairman of the House Committee on Population, Hon. Okunjimi John Odimayo while briefing the Press after the budget defence, expressed satisfaction with the level of preparedness and readiness of the NPC to conduct the upcoming first digital Population and Housing Census in Nigeria and also, called on Mr. President to fix a date for the completion of the next census exercise.
