Federal Government Opens 2025/26 Technical Teachers Training Application
The Technical Teachers Training Programme (TTTP) is a strategic initiative by the Federal Ministry of Education aimed at revitalizing Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Nigeria.
- The programme focuses on training teachers in Science, Mathematics, Technical, and Vocational Education who, in turn, will equip students with industry-relevant skills to meet modern workforce demands.
About the Programme
The 2025/2026 TTTP offers a one-year, tuition-free Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) for eligible teachers.
- It is designed to enhance the pedagogical and technical capabilities of instructors, ensuring they are aligned with 21st-century teaching methodologies and industry expectations

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the TTTP, applicants must:
Be a teacher currently teaching technical or vocational subjects in a public secondary technical school or college in Nigeria.
- Have a minimum of five (5) years of service left before retirement.
- Be medically fit, with a recent medical report required at the point of application.
