Responsibilities
Assist in Program Delivery - Support the implementation of humanitarian activities such as food and non-food item distribution, awareness campaigns, education sessions, or community mobilization.
- Conduct Outreach and Sensitization - Engage with communities to share accurate information on services, rights, and available support, while countering misinformation.
- Collect and Report Data - Participate in surveys, monitoring exercises, needs assessments, and provide timely and accurate information to supervisors.
- Support Accountability Mechanisms - Gather feedback, document complaints, and refer them through established reporting channels.
- Promote Protection and Safeguarding - Identify and refer vulnerable individuals, ensuring adherence to child safeguarding and protection from sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA) principles.
Maintain Confidential Records - Handle beneficiary information responsibly, ensuring confidentiality and data protection at all times.
- Ensure Compliance with Security Protocols - Follow safety guidelines during field activities, report risks promptly, and adhere to movement and communication procedures.
- Provide Logistical and Operational Support - Assist staff in setting up activities, preparing venues, organizing materials, and supporting smooth program operations.
- Foster Positive Community Relations - Build trust and collaboration between humanitarian actors and affected populations through respectful engagement.
Demonstrate Professional Conduct - Uphold organizational values, respect diversity, and act with accountability, reliability, and commitment to humanitarian goals.
