Equity Research Analyst (Oil & Gas & Telecoms)

We are looking for a highly motivated Equity Research Analyst to join our research team.

The successful candidate will cover the Oil & Gas and Telecom sectors, providing actionable insights that inform investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth research on Sub-Saharan Africa and domestic Oil & Gas markets, including upstream, midstream, and downstream activities.

Monitor and analyze geopolitical, macroeconomic, and regulatory developments affecting coverage sectors.

Build and maintain financial and valuation models for companies within the Oil & Gas and Telecom sectors.
Produce equity research reports, sector outlooks, and company-specific investment recommendations for clients.
Provide timely insights to support trading and investment decisions in collaboration with the Sales & Trading team.

Experience & Qualification

Minimum of a First Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field from a reputable institution.

Minimum of 4 years post-NYSC experience, preferably in equity research.
Proficiency in financial analysis, valuation techniques, and financial modelling.

Required Competencies

Deep understanding of Oil & Gas sector fundamentals and macroeconomic drivers.
