Dangote Cement Management Trainee Programme (Nationwide)
The Dangote Management Trainee Programme is a prestigious 18-month programme designed to accelerate the development of high-potential mid-career professionals into future senior leaders of Dangote Cement.
- Successful Trainees will gain cross-functional exposure, intensive classroom learning, mentorship from senior executives, and real-world project experience across plants, depots, and corporate offices.
- The programme combines the rigor of an MBA with the practical immersion of a business rotation scheme, creating a pipeline of resilient, enterprise-minded leaders.
Key Expectations on the Programme
Complete an intensive 1-month classroom immersion covering business strategy, economic analysis, cement industry fundamentals, risk management, and leadership.
- Undertake structured rotations across Operations & Technical, Commercial & Distribution, and Corporate Support functions.
Participate in site visits and extended assignments at major plants and depots to gain firsthand exposure to the industrial environment. Work on high-impact projects that address strategic priorities, culminating in a capstone presentation to senior leadership.
- Participate in three leadership labs focused on personal mastery, team leadership, and enterprise leadership.
- Engage actively in mentoring relationships with cross-border C-level executives
- Maintain a reflective development journal and engage in peer learning circles
Demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and influence skills in challenging environments, including manufacturing plant conditions and high-stakes business scenarios

Be equipped for early transition into senior leadership or technical/ strategic assistant roles supporting the C-suite.

Requirements
- Between 28 and 35 years old
- Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)
- 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND - for technical roles)
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; comfort with data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated leadership potential with ability to influence stakeholders across levels.
- Resilience and adaptability to thrive in demanding industrial environments.
