Non-religious and not-for-profit organization whose goal is the “promotion of gender equality, Peace and sustainable development in Nigeria”.

Location: Borno

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management:

Supervising and guiding protection staff in the implementation of protection activities.

Developing and implementing work plans, ensuring efficient workload distribution and monitoring progress.
Providing technical support and guidance to staff, including capacity building and training.
Fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.

Program Implementation:

Overseeing the implementation of protection activities, such as case management, referrals, and community-based protection initiatives.

Ensuring that protection principles are mainstreamed across all program activities.
Contributing to the development and adaptation of protection monitoring tools and frameworks.
Conducting protection monitoring, including data collection and analysis, to identify protection concerns and needs.
Contributing to the development and implementation of referral pathways.

Representing the organization in relevant protection coordination meetings and forums.

Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and other organizations.

Ensuring effective communication and information sharing within the team and with other departments.
Drafting protection monitoring reports and providing input into program reports.
Ensuring that all activities are in compliance with donor and organizational policies and procedures.
Contributing to the development of monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the impact of protection interventions.
