Job Title:  Grants and Partnership Officer

Section: Management

Duration: 6 months

Duty Station: Adamawa state

Reports to: Executive Director

Start Date: IMMEDIATELY

Purpose of Assignment:

  • The Grants and Partnership Officer is responsible for managing donor relations, coordinating grant proposals and reporting, and supporting strategic partnerships to enhance program funding and impact. 

This role ensures compliance with donor requirements, facilitates collaboration with partners, and contributes to the organization’s resource mobilization efforts.

Major duties and responsibilities:

Identify funding opportunities and support proposal development in collaboration with program teams.

  • Coordinate grant management processes, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance tracking.

Maintain relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders to foster collaboration and transparency.

  • Monitor grant performance and ensure timely submission of high-quality reports.
  • Support partnership development through MOUs, joint planning, and capacity building.
  • Ensure all grants and partnerships align with organizational goals and donor expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records of grants, contracts, and partnership agreements.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and fundraising initiatives.

  • Actively promote PSEA (prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse) standards within First Step Action for Children Initiative and among beneficiaries

Adhere to the Adamawa state Health Crae Development Agency Code of Conduct, for health at all times.

Qualification & Competencies (indicates the level of proficiency required for the job.)

Education & Other Skill

  • A minimum of B.SC in Social Sciences or related field.
