Katsina State Government under the visionary leadership of His Excellency Malam Dikko Umar Radda PhD in collaboration with the National Primary Health Care Development Agency hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for recruitment into the following cadres of Primary Health Care workers across the State.

  • The Katsina State Primary Health Care Agency (KSPHCA) is urgently recruiting qualified indigenes for Primary Health Care positions across the 34 Local Government Areas.

Location: Kastina State ( Across 34 LGAs)

Available Positions:

  • Midwives
  • Community Midwives
  • Community Health Extension Workers (CHEWs)
  • Junior Community Health Extension Workers (JCHEWs)/Community Based Health Care Workers

General Requirements

Interested candidates must fulfill the following conditions:

  • Applicants must be indigenes of Katsina State with valid proof of origin.

Candidates must possess relevant qualifications from recognized institutions as follows:

  • Certificate in Basic Midwifery
  • ICertificate in Community Midwifery
  • IDiploma in Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW)

Certificate in Junior Community Health Extension Worker (JCHEW)

Applicants must be registered with the appropriate professional regulatory body (such as the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria or the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria).

  • Candidates Must be residing or willing to work in the Local Government He/she is applying
  • Candidates must be ready to work in rural areas
  • Candidates must demonstrate good communication skills, integrity, and a passion for community service.

Selection Process

  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited for screening, examination and interview at designated centers to be provided in due course. 

Successful applicants will be deployed to Primary Health Care facilities and Communities across the 34 Local Government Areas of Katsina State.
