About the Role
The E-Commerce Specialist will lead our digital commerce strategy, support entrepreneurs in building and optimizing online stores, and help them access broader markets through e-commerce platforms.
- You will also manage partnerships, training programs, and digital growth initiatives that directly impact SMEs.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement e-commerce strategies for businesses participating in our programs.
Support entrepreneurs in setting up and managing online stores (Amazon,Shopify, WooCommerce, Jumia, Etsy, etc.).
Conduct training sessions and workshops on digital marketing, online sales, and marketplace optimization.
- Monitor market trends and provide insights to enhance business performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams on digital transformation projects.
- Build partnerships with marketplaces, payment solution providers, and logistics companies.
- Track and report on program impact and online business performance metrics.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, ICT, or related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or online marketplace management.
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, analytics tools, SEO/SEM, and online customer journey optimization.
- Experience delivering training or capacity-building programs is a plus.
- Passion for economic empowerment and inclusive digital growth.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
