Executive Director At Hope 360 Initiative for Peace (HOPE360)
Location: Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria
Reports To: Board of Trustees
Contract Type: Full-time
Duration: 12 Months
Supervise and mentor senior staff.
- Lead recruitment and performance management.
- Promote a culture of accountability, gender equality, and learning.
- Safeguarding, Protection & Risk Management:
Strengthen safeguarding, PSEA, and child protection frameworks.
Oversee safety, security, and risk management procedures.
- Ensure ethical leadership and zero tolerance for misconduct.
- Communication, Advocacy & Representation:
- Serve as HOPE360’s spokesperson.
- Manage communication strategies, media engagement, and public messaging.
- Advocate for the rights of conflict-affected populations.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Administration, Peace & Conflict Studies, or related field.
Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 7–10 years senior leadership experience in humanitarian or development NGOs.
- Strong experience in resource mobilization and donor-funded projects.
- Experience working in Northeast Nigeria is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strategic leadership and decision-making.
- Strong financial management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- High proficiency in report writing and MEAL systems.
