Novel Alliance for Development Aid (NADA) is a national NGO registered with Nigerian Cooperate Affair Commission as a humanitarian and development organization. 

  • The organization was founded in 2017 in Maiduguri Borno State, Nigeria by Nigerian intellectuals’ humanitarian to provide integrated humanitarian services to people and communities affected by the crisis within the country with a focus on the northeast and northwest Nigerian.

Main objective and responsibility of the position

Provide administrative assistance, program support, and assist in other duties assigned.

Key Areas of Accountability

  • As a member of the NADA Team, you will contribute to the Support of developing an organizational culture that reflects our dual mandate values, promotes accountability and high performance, and encourages a team culture of learning, creativity, and innovation.

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in the creation and maintenance of program documentation, such as agendas, minutes, reports, and presentations, and also ensure that all relevant documents are organized and accessible.

  • Provide administrative assistance to program staff, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing activity profiles.
  • Support the operations department with logistics engagements.
  • Be available for all trainings and capacity building organized by NADA, partners, MDAs and Donor agency .
  • Assist in implementing program activities by supporting program-related initiatives.

Communicates clearly and confidently with others to engage and influence; promotes dialogue and ensures timely and appropriate messages, building confidence and trust.

Requirements

  • To apply for this role, applicants MUST be a serving NYSC member (National Youth Service Corps Member) in Sokoto State Metropolis, and the place of primary assignment should be flexible for other engagements.

Education

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Science, Social Sciences or any Management Science related discipline.

Languages: Essential English language, Hausa and any other local language desirable

Knowledge of Computer literacy

  • Competencies Results and Quality Orientation, Teamwork and Cooperation, Behavioral Flexibility, Commitment to NADA Principles, Service Orientation, Stress Management.
