Summary

Responsible for managing the receipt, storage and local shipping of parts.

The incumbent will also be responsible for managing local purchases and local vendor management.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out day-to-day operation and maintenance of plants both in our customers’ sites.

Liaise with customers in proffering solutions to their plant problems.
Ensure that suitable spare parts are always used.
Provide support for Field Service Engineers during maintenance and repair activities.
Ensure close monitoring of engine performance and respond promptly to any irregularities to prevent unnecessary shutdowns.
Ensure all required technical / e-training program assigned are achieved at due time.

Required Qualification and Experience

OND or City & Guilds finals in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

3 years’ experience in a service or other Engineering organizations

Required Skills & Competencies:

Good knowledge of Power Generation systems

High customer-orientation, efficient and target-oriented way of working

High degree of self-motivation, flexibility, dynamism, responsibility and ownership of tasks
Good communication and reporting skills
Basic level of computer skills including MS Word and Excel
