ANRML was incorporated in 2012 as part of African Industries Group’s plan to embark on Backward Integration for its Steel Production.

ANRML started its foray into Mining with the acquisition of Mining Lease in Kaduna State.
Subsequently ANRML has also acquired multiple Mining and Exploration licenses in various minerals in over 15 sites and exploration activities are being carried out.

Job Description

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, employees, visitors, and assets.

The role involves monitoring activities, enforcing company policies, preventing security breaches, and responding to incidents swiftly and professionally.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and safety hazards.

Conduct routine inspections of buildings, gates, and security equipment.

Control entry and exit points; verify identification and maintain visitor logs.

Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents; provide necessary support and escalate when required.
Enforce company security policies and procedures.
Prepare accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
Assist in crowd management during events or emergencies.
Operate surveillance systems (CCTV) and report any suspicious activities.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency response teams when needed.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (OND/NCE preferred).

Previous experience in security or law enforcement is an advantage.

Physical fitness and ability to stand or patrol for long periods.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
Knowledge of security protocols, surveillance systems, and emergency procedures.
Integrity, honesty, and strong attention to detail.
Must be willing to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
