Job Purpose
The Capacity Building Officer will drive the design, coordination, and delivery of all competency-based training, mentoring, and continuous professional development activities under the CARMNIS project.
- The role ensures that Community Based Health Workers (CBHWs) receive high-quality, standardized capacity strengthening aligned with national guidelines and the redesigned CBHW model.
- The officer will support curriculum development, learning systems, coaching structures, supervision tools, and assessment processes to improve quality of care and performance across supported LGAs.
Minimum Education and Work Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in nursing, Public Health, Health Education, Community Health, or related field (master’s preferred).
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in capacity building for PHC, CBHW, or RMNCH programs.
- Experience in competency-based training, mentoring models, and supportive supervision.
- Experience working with government health systems in Nigeria.
Other Information:
- Travel required (at least 30%)
- Uses cellular and desk phone, laptop or desktop computer.
