- The Production officer is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food items in strict compliance with Winnys Meals On The Move Nig Ltd’s standards for quality, hygiene, and speed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Prepare raw ingredients for cooking (e.g., washing, cutting, marinating, seasoning, portioning) according to recipe specifications and daily production plans.
- Cook food items including but not limited to rice dishes, soups, meats, pastries, and side items using appropriate equipment (stove, oven, fryer, grill, etc.).
- Adhere strictly to kitchen timelines to ensure meals are ready during peak hours and demand periods.
- Follow standardized recipes and procedures to maintain consistent taste, appearance, and quality across all branches.
- Practice excellent personal hygiene (e.g., hand washing, clean uniforms, hair nets, gloves).
Ensure cleanliness and sanitization of workstations, utensils, kitchen surfaces, cutting boards, and equipment before and after use.
- Operate kitchen appliances and equipment safely and report any malfunctions to the maintenance team or supervisor.
- Ensure all equipment (knives, mixers, fryers, blenders, etc.) are cleaned, dried, and stored appropriately after use.
Skills/Requirements:
At least 2 years relevant experience
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to follow directions and standardized processes.
- Multitasking and time management under pressure.
- Team spirit and effective communication with co-workers.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and cooking techniques.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and processes.
