Key Responsibilities
Oversee financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance with regulatory standards, Safeguard Arzikin Noma assets while enabling strategic decision-making.
Oversee financial planning, budgeting and forecasting across the group.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with IFRS and regulatory requirements
- Manage cash flow, treasury operations and capital expenditure controls.
- Provide strategic financial insights to executive management and the board
- Coordinate statutory audits and liaise with external auditors and regulators.
- Strengthen financial controls, policies and procedures across subsidiaries.
Pillars of Execution
Financial Reporting: Deliver timely, accurate reports aligned with IFRS, CBN and Donor Agencies guidelines.
Internal Controls: Strengthen risk management frameworks across lending and investment portfolios.
Budget Oversight: Monitor capital allocation to ensure efficiency and accountability.
Technology Integration: Deploy digital accounting systems for real-time monitoring of transactions
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Studies or MBA.
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is desired 5-7 years of hands on experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
- Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
- Strong technical accounting knowledge including experience of AP and AR Creating statutory accounts
- Produced budgets up to multi-millions
- Experience attending to annual audit
- Good and excellent knowledge of business application systems (SAGE) and use of other general application packages like Excel and Modeling, Word and Power Point is desired.
- A strong background in inventory, standard costing and manufacturing processing environment is desired.
