The Kano State Hospitals Management Board is pleased to announce recruitment opportunities for qualified and experienced medical professionals into the State Health Service. 

• This recruitment exercise is aimed at strengthening pediatric healthcare delivery and ensuring high-quality specialized care across all state-owned hospitals.

Candidate Requirements

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must possess the following qualifications and professional certifications:

Academic Qualification: Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or an equivalent degree from a recognized medical institution.

• Specialization: Fellowship in Pediatrics from either the West African College of Physicians (WACP) or the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN).
• Professional Registration: Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).

Licensing: Possession of a valid, current practicing license issued by the MDCN.

National Service: Evidence of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Discharge Certificate or an official Certificate of Exemption.

Added Advantages & Competencies

Demonstrable post-fellowship clinical experience.

• Proven competence in advanced pediatric care and clinical management.
• Strong commitment to professional medical ethics and patient safety.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team.
