The DreamDevs Program is Moniepoint’s initiative to identify, nurture, and train Africa’s brightest Engineering talent straight from university.

Responsibilities

As a DreamDevs Trainee, you will:

Participate in a structured training program covering core Engineering skills.

  • Work on projects that solve real-world problems in finance and technology.
  • Collaborate with peers and mentors to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Continuously learn and apply new technologies to enhance your skill set.

Who We’re Looking For

Fresh Graduates: Recent graduates (within the last 1–2 years) from Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, with at least a 2:1 degree

  • Problem-Solvers: Individuals with a passion for tackling complex challenges through innovation.
  • Team Players: Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Learners: Eagerness to learn new technologies and improve constantly.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.).

  • Understanding of software development principles.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Commitment to the program's timeline and goals.

Nice-to-Have

  • Previous experience with personal or academic projects in software development.
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

  • Code Challenge: Top candidates will come for an in-person coding challenge to demonstrate their problem-solving skills.
  • Bootcamp: Finalists will join an intensive Bootcamp to prepare for real-world Engineering challenges.
