About Aidova Foundation

Aidova Foundation is a nascent community health and humanitarian initiative dedicated to strengthening primary healthcare systems and providing crucial support to vulnerable populations across Northern Nigeria. 

  • As the Foundation completes its formal NGO registration and institutional setup, we are committed to establishing a robust governance structure that underpins our mission.

The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced, values-driven professionals to serve as Volunteer Trustees. 

  • These non-executive roles are pivotal in providing strategic oversight, guidance, and accountability as we build a credible, community-focused organization. 
  • Trustees will contribute to the Foundation’s strategic direction, ensuring adherence to its mission and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities of Trustees

Provide strategic guidance and oversight to the Foundation’s operations and programs.

  • Ensure the Foundation’s adherence to its mission, values, and legal/regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to fundraising strategies and resource mobilization efforts.
  • Advocate for the Foundation’s objectives and represent its interests.

Participate in regular board meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.

Who We Are Looking For

We are particularly interested in individuals with proven expertise in the following areas:

  • Public Health or Health Systems: Professionals with experience in healthcare policy, delivery, and system strengthening.
  • Finance, Accounting, or Audit: Experts in financial management, compliance, and fiscal oversight.
  • Law, Governance, or Administration: Legal professionals or those with strong backgrounds in organizational governance and administrative best practices.

Community Development or Humanitarian Work: Practitioners with experience in grassroots development, humanitarian aid, and community engagement.
