Women United for Economic Empowerment (WUEE) is a community-driven, non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of women, children, and vulnerable populations through sustainable development interventions. 

  • WUEE works across key sectors including public health, nutrition, food security, economic strengthening, child protection, and gender-based advocacy. 
  • Through evidence-based programming and strong community partnerships, the organization designs and implements projects that address poverty, inequality, and limited access to essential services.
  • Under the THRIVE Project, WUEE focuses on strengthening household resilience by improving nutrition outcomes, enhancing food security, and supporting vulnerable communities across selected Local Government Areas in Akwa Ibom State.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Strategic Information Officer

Location: Oron (with field activities across implementing LGAs) – Akwa Ibom

Key Responsibilities

Lead data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting processes

  • Ensure data quality assurance and compliance with donor requirements
  • Maintain project databases and monitoring tools
  • Support monitoring and evaluation activities across project LGAs
  • Prepare timely and high-quality technical reports

Qualifications & Requirements

Degree in Statistics, Public Health, Demography, Social Sciences, or related field with 2–3 years’ experience in Monitoring & Evaluation or Strategic Information

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, DHIS2, or similar platforms)
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills
  • Knowledge of Akwa Ibom terrain and local context is an added advantage
