Applications are now open for the 2026 Ominira Initiative Free Trade Fellowship, a six-month program designed for Nigerian professionals passionate about economic development and free trade advocacy.
- This fellowship provides a structured platform for journalists, academics, and policy-focused professionals to deepen their understanding of economic liberalization while contributing meaningfully to public discourse through research and media engagement.
Who can Apply ?
The fellowship is open to Nigerian professionals in the following categories:
- Journalists and media professionals
- Academics and researchers
- Civil society or NGO staff
- Other professionals with relevant experience in economic or policy discourse
Applicants must demonstrate a strong interest in economic advancement, trade policy, business environment reform, and free trade advocacy.
What Fellows Will Gain
