Position Summary
Healthy People International Foundation is seeking passionate, creative, and motivated individuals to join our team as Volunteer Social Media Officers.
- In this role, you will help strengthen the organization’s online presence, raise awareness about mental health issues, and engage with our growing digital community through compelling content and multimedia storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and update the organization’s social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X/Twitter).
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging social media content related to mental health awareness and organizational activities.
- Design simple graphics, social media posts, and promotional materials that support HPIF campaigns and programs.
- Edit short videos and visual content for social media campaigns, awareness initiatives, and digital storytelling.
- Support the production and management of the organization’s podcast, including editing audio/video episodes and preparing content for distribution.
- Assist in developing and implementing social media campaigns and online advocacy initiatives.
- Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments or messages where appropriate.
Collaborate with the communications team to ensure consistent messaging, branding, and storytelling.
Track and report basic social media and digital engagement metrics.
Requirements
Interest in mental health advocacy and community development.
- Basic knowledge of social media management and digital content creation.
- Familiarity with graphic design, video editing tools, and/or podcast editing software is an advantage.
- Good written communication skills in English.
- Creativity, reliability, and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Previous experience in social media management, communications, graphic design, or multimedia content creation is desirable but not required.
