Job:

The WASH Coordinator will provide overall managerial & technical support to all projects related to WASH in his/her field office, The WASH Coordinator is responsible for the planning and implementation of all WASH project’s activities and with support from WASH Program Manager, she/he will work closely with the program implementation team and ensure high quality program implementation their respective area both in WASH in community/camp, Safe space, Health care Facilities, and Schools. He/she represent EYN Projects in front of WASH partners, and WASH Sector meetings.

Reports to: Program Manager

Qualification and Experience

Bachelor or master’s degree in Civil and Water Resource Engineering, Project Management or any related field from a certified tertiary institution with at least three years of proven experience use of AutoCAD in designing, supervising construction and Borehole drilling.

Progressive management/coordination experience of working in an emergency and long-term WASH program;

At least 5 years of working experience with 3 years in humanitarian context,
Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation,
Ability to write clear and well-argued assessment and project reports
A critical thinker with outstanding interpersonal skills.
Proven experience working in an office environment while consistently upholding strong professional ethics.

Knowledge & Skills:

A firm grasp on and understanding of project management

Developing and promoting effective collaboration within and across units & projects to achieve shared goals and optimize results.
Willingness and ability to take initiatives not only in identifying problems but also in suggesting and implementing solutions.
Good interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships with all staff and key stakeholders.
Knowledgeable in budgeting
Proven capacity for management and leadership
Demonstrable ability at report writing
Computer literacy
Excellent presentation skills.
