Background

A reputable Community Healthcare Organization based in Lagos State, is seeking a highly experienced Field Coordinator to lead the implementation of community-based tuberculosis (TB) interventions across multiple LGAs in Lagos State.

  • This role requires a results-driven professional with strong field supervision experience, data accountability discipline, and the ability to drive performance in donor-funded programs.

This is a full-time requiring resumption as soon as possible.

Role Summary

  • The Field Coordinator will provide end-to-end oversight of field operations, ensuring that all outreach, case-finding, linkage-to-care, and reporting activities are executed efficiently, accurately, and in line with project targets and donor expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Field Operations & Supervision

Lead and manage all field personnel across assigned LGAs 

  • Develop and enforce structured weekly outreach and house-to-house activity plans 
  • Adjust field schedules dynamically based on performance gaps and operational realities 
  • Conduct routine and unscheduled supervisory visits to field sites and facilities.

Performance & Target Management

Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance against screening, presumptive, and case detection targets 

  • Identify performance gaps early and implement rapid corrective actions 
  • Ensure strict adherence to donor KPIs and reporting timelines 

Data Quality & Reporting

Ensure accurate completion of registers and source documents at all field sites 

  • Conduct data validation and verification exercises before submission  
  • Work closely with M&E teams to ensure error-free line lists and reports 
  • Work closely with partners and grants teams to ensure error-free validation processes 
  • Prepare and present field performance reports to management and stakeholders.

Requirements

Mandatory

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in field coordination or supervision within public health programs 

  • Strong experience in TB control programs (experience with HIV programs is an added advantage) 
  • Proven ability to manage multi-LGA field operations and community-based interventions 
  • Strong knowledge of data collection, validation, and reporting processes 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 
  • Experience with data management tools (Kobo Collect, Google Forms, ODK, DHIS, etc.) 
  • Fluency in Yoruba and strong understanding of local community dynamics 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
