 Job Title: Driver

Location: Durumi, Abuja (FCT)

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and safety-conscious Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services for staff, company executives, and official materials.

• The ideal candidate must possess excellent driving skills, good knowledge of Abuja road networks, and a strong commitment to professionalism, punctuality, and vehicle maintenance.
• Typical driver responsibilities include transporting passengers or company items safely, maintaining the assigned vehicle, planning efficient routes, and ensuring compliance with traffic regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport staff, executives, and visitors to assigned destinations.

Pick up and deliver documents, parcels, and other company items as required.

• Ensure timely arrival for all scheduled trips and appointments.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean, fueled, and in excellent working condition.
• Report any vehicle faults, accidents, or maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and servicing.
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Plan efficient routes to minimize travel time and avoid delays.
• Support other administrative or logistics-related errands as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC qualification.
• Valid Nigerian Driver’s License.
• Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience as a corporate or professional driver.
• Good knowledge of Abuja roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance, integrity, and a high level of confidentiality.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends when required.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Defensive driving skills.
• Attention to detail and safety consciousness.
• Calm and courteous attitude under pressure.
