The International Trade and Research Centre (ITRC) is inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the role of Enumerators to support a high-impact Nigeria case study on Developing a West African Cotton Regional Value Chain.

  • This initiative aims to strengthen data-driven insights and policy recommendations across the cotton, textile, and apparel ecosystem in Nigeria and the wider West African region.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and engage relevant stakeholders across assigned locations

Deliver official invitations and coordinate interview schedules

  • Conduct interviews using standardized research tools
  • Accurately document, compile, and submit responses in line with project guidelines
  • Successful enumerators will play a critical role in field data collection and stakeholder engagement.
  • They will support structured interviews with key actors across the value chain, including cotton farmers, textile manufacturers, garment producers, industry associations, government agencies, industrial parks, and research institutions.
  • This opportunity is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills, field research experience, and familiarity with Nigeria’s agricultural or industrial sectors.

Northwest: Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Zamfara, Sokoto, Kebbi, Jigawa

Northeast: Gombe, Adamawa, Bauchi, Taraba, Yobe, Borno

North Central: Abuja, Kwara, Niger, Nasarawa, Kogi, Plateau

Southwest: Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo

Southeast: Abia (Aba), Anambra, Enugu

South-South: Edo, Delta, Rivers
