Enumerator's (Hands for Health Project) in Maiduguri & Jere LGAs
Terre des hommes Foundation is recruiting on-call Enumerators for the Hands for Health Project in Maiduguri & Jere LGAs.
Role:
Support nationwide-quality field data collection by administering approved questionnaires, interviewing respondents, using Kobo or similar mobile tools, checking submissions for completeness and accuracy, and complying with research ethics, confidentiality and safeguarding requirements.
Responsibilities
Attend training and field briefings.
Obtain informed consent and conduct respectful interviews.
- Collect, review and submit accurate data through approved digital tools.
- Report field challenges and data-quality issues promptly.
- Protect respondent privacy and organizational equipment.
- Work with supervisors and meet daily deployment targets.
Contract Details
On-call assignment from August 2026 to October 2027. Compensation, number of positions and exact deployment schedule: Not specified.

Enumerators must maintain confidentiality, obtain informed consent, follow do-no-harm principles and comply with Terre des hommes safeguarding and conduct requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or university degree in a relevant discipline.
- At least one year of field-data-collection or enumeration experience.
- Familiarity with KoboCollect or related electronic data tools.
- Knowledge of Maiduguri or Jere communities and ability to travel within the assigned LGA.
- Strong communication, accuracy and teamwork.
- English plus Hausa or Kanuri proficiency.
