ACE Charity is recruiting a State Coordinator to support the implementation, monitoring, coordination, and reporting of programme activities at the state level.

  • The successful candidate will help translate approved programme workplans into actionable activities, track implementation progress, coordinate with programme teams and partners, and support engagement with  government institutions and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Support implementation of approved programme activities at state level, translating workplans into actionable activities and timelines.

  • Monitor programme activities against agreed targets, milestones and timelines, identifying implementation gaps, delays and bottlenecks.
  • Track activities, deliverables and implementation progress, and coordinate follow-up across programme teams and implementing partners.
  • Support engagement and coordination with state government institutions, health facilities, implementing partners and other programme stakeholders.
  • Support the collection, compilation and review of programme data, ensuring completeness, consistency and timely availability for programme reviews.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Project Management or a related field, a Master's degree or relevant postgraduate qualification.

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in programme implementation, monitoring and evaluation
  • Demonstrated experience supporting programmes at state or subnational level and coordinating multiple activities, teams or stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English and Hausa, with the ability to communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders in the state.
  • Experience in programme monitoring, performance tracking, reporting and data management; donor-funded or multi-partner programme experience is an advantage.
