- The Wunti Al-Khair Foundation is seeking a creative, empathetic, and digitally savvy intern to join our team.
- This is a unique opportunity where your work goes beyond posting content, you will help tell stories that inspire action, highlight humanitarian impact, and connect communities to meaningful change.
- As part of the Media & Communications team, your mission will be to amplify the Foundation’s voice, document our programs, and engage our growing audience through compelling visual and written storytelling.
This is a hands-on role where you will witness firsthand the difference your work makes in advancing our mission.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation: Produce high-quality visual content (photos, short-form videos/Reels/TikToks) and graphics that highlight our foundation’s initiatives and success stories.
- Social Media Management: Schedule and post daily updates across platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook) to maintain a consistent brand presence.
- Community Engagement: Monitor comments and messages, fostering a positive and helpful environment for our supporters and beneficiaries.
- Storytelling: Interview project leads or beneficiaries to craft “Impact Stories” that move our audience to action.
- Trend Tracking: Stay updated on digital trends and suggest creative ways the foundation can participate in relevant online conversations.
Reporting:
- Help track basic analytics (engagement, reach, growth) to see what content resonates most with our community.
Qualification & Skills
Education:
- Minimum of Diploma or Bachelor degree in any related field but professional in content creation as added advantage
Passion for Impact: A genuine interest in philanthropy and the specific pillars of the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation.
Digital Fluency: Proficiency in social media platforms and a “good eye” for aesthetic layouts
Language Fluency: Hausa and English
