Electoral Security Monitoring (Volunteer's) at Kimpact Development Initiative (KDI)
Kimpact Development Initiative (KDI) is inviting applications from qualified and committed individuals to serve as Long-Term Election Security Monitors (LTSMs) under its International Election Observers Mission (IEOM) Project ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 General Elections.
- This opportunity is for individuals interested in promoting peaceful elections, strengthening democratic governance and supporting electoral integrity through community-based security monitoring.
- Kimpact Development Initiative (KDI) is seeking qualified and committed individuals to serve as Long-Term Election Security Monitors (LTSMs) for the International Election Observers Mission (IEOM) Project.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Reside in the Federal Constituency where they intend to monitor.
- Have a strong understanding of their local community and electoral environment.
- Demonstrate impartiality, integrity and a commitment to peaceful elections.
- Possess good observation, communication and reporting skills.
- Be proficient in using smartphones and digital reporting tools.
- Be available for the required training and monitoring activities throughout the project period.
- Not hold a leadership position in a political party or play an active role in a political campaign.
Previous experience in election observation, community monitoring, conflict prevention, research, journalism or civic engagement will be an added advantage.

- Bayelsa
- Bauchi
- Imo
- Kaduna
- Kogi
- Lagos
Monitoring Period:
- November 2026 - February 2027.
