Call for Applications - NNPC/SNEPCo National University Scholarship
Applications are now open for the 2026 NNPC/SNEPCo National University Scholarship Programme, offered by Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCo), on behalf of itself, NNPC Limited and its co-venture partners.
- The merit-based scholarship aims to promote academic excellence and support talented Nigerian undergraduates.
- Successful applicants will receive a yearly grant from their second year until completion of their undergraduate studies, subject to meeting the scholarship conditions.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants Must:
- Be Nigerian citizens.
- Be full-time 200-level students in a recognised public Nigerian university.
- Be studying a course accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
- Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale or equivalent.
- Not be beneficiaries of another scholarship from an oil and gas industry organisation, whether national or international.
- Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Documents Required
Applicants should prepare scanned copies of the following:
- Recent passport photograph in JPEG format (maximum 200KB).
- University or JAMB admission letter.
- UTME result.
- O’Level result(s).
- A’Level, OND or NCE results, where applicable.
- Letter of identification from state of origin, indicating local government area.
- Academic results showing CGPA after completing 100 level.
- Completed and signed Government Official Declaration Form.
- National Identification Number (NIN).

Applications are accepted online through Scholastica only.
- Email applications are not accepted.
- SNEPCo does not appoint agents or representatives to process applications.
- Never pay anyone to apply on your behalf.
- Only eligible and shortlisted candidates will be invited for the monitored computer-based test.
- Applicants must maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 to retain the scholarship.
- The award is renewable through graduation, subject to the scholarship conditions.

How to Apply
- Visit the official Scholastica application portal.
- Create an account and activate it through your email.
- Log in and complete the application with your personal and academic details.
- Upload all required documents.
- Download your application profile, obtain your Head of Department’s signature and upload the signed copy as instructed.
- Review your information and confirm successful submission under “My Application”.
