Dr. Rogozov here, upon working on an artic scientific expedition, had experienced uncanny symptoms of appendicitis.
So as any natural person would decide to do, Leonid:
• Performed an appendectomy on himself.
Without gloves.
• Without a properly trained team helping him.
• In the middle of freezing Antarctica.
• He survived the self-operation and died at 66 of natural causes.
