How to Register as a TVET Training Center on the NBTE Portal CAC Holder

The Federal Government has launched a comprehensive Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) initiative aimed at building a globally competitive, skilled workforce.
- Apply through the NBTE digital portal.
- You must have a valid national ID.
- Choose your preferred training center.
- Upload required documents including passport photo and ID.
- Use an active phone number and email.
- Complete all fields carefully before submitting.
Confirm Eligibility
You can apply as a Skill Training Centre (STC), Vocational Enterprise Institution (VEI), or Mastercraft Person (MCP). CAC registration is mandatory. For MCPs, NIN is also accepted.
Prepare Documents
You need the following:
- CAC Certificate (PDF, max 1 MB)
- Approved NSQ curriculum
- For STCs/VEIs: instructor details, facilities, IQAM, QAA
- For MCPs: workshop photos, artisan certificates, NIN or CAC
Access the Application Form
Go to: https://www.digitalnbte.nbte.gov.ng/TVET/TVETApplication2
Fill in your institution name, CAC number, select category, state, LGA, ownership type, trades, contact details, and create a password.
Register Account
Submit the form. You will receive a user ID to log in later.
- Login and Complete Profile
- Login using your user ID and password. Update your profile and upload all required documents.
Pay Fees
Pay the inspection/site visit fee as shown on your dashboard.
- Undergo Inspection
- NBTE will visit your site for inspection.
- If approved, you will be accredited and can offer certified training programmes.
