Job Title: Intern

Job Location: Adamawa, Ebonyi, Kaduna, Nasarawa, Oyo and Plateau

Key Highlights

Duration: 3 to 12 months

Eligibility: Open to recent graduates and NYSC Coppers

Compensation: Monthly living allowance

What Interns Will Do

Interns will:

Support assigned departments on specific projects and daily tasks

  • Participate in technical and soft skills trainings
  • Attend team meetings, internal events, and industry learning opportunities
  • Receive regular feedback and guidance from a designated mentor

Selection Process

  • Candidates will be shortlisted based on academic background, communication skills, and a strong willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support in the design and development of program frameworks, goals, and objectives.

  • Develop detailed work plans and schedules for program activities.
  • Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation (M&E) plans to measure program outcomes.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure program buy-in and sustainability.
  • Support fundraising efforts by contributing to proposal development and donor reporting.
  • Prepare high-quality reports for internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Maintain accurate records of program activities, budgets, and outcomes.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Health, or a related field.

  • Relevant Professional certificate is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in program management within the NGO sector.
  • Demonstrated experience managing donor-funded projects is highly desirable.

Skills and Competencies:

Excellent project management and organizational skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using program management and M&E tools.
  • Exceptional communication.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of local contexts and languages is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools like SPSS, R, or Excel for program evaluation.
