If you run a tech- or digital-based startup in the Niger Delta region, you could be among the top three winners of a seed-funding prize pool worth ₦1,800,000, courtesy of the Niger Delta Digital Summit’s Startup Seed Funding Program. 

  • This opportunity gives promising startups across fintech, agritech, health-tech, edtech, green-tech, e-commerce and more a chance to secure critical early-stage funding and support to grow.

What the Grant Offers (Benefits & Support)

Cash prizes for top-performing startups:

1st Place: ₦1,000,000

2nd Place: ₦500,000

3rd Place: ₦300,000

In-kind support and perks, including:

  • Complimentary coworking workspace from a partner (Quint Space)
  • Cloud-storage or hosting support from a provider (Nest Hogins)
  • Business masterclasses/training sessions from a supporting institution (Centre for Export Development)

Who Can Apply (Eligibility Criteria)

To be eligible:

You must be a founder or co-founder of a tech / digital startup.

  • Your startup must be based in any of the 9 Niger Delta states: Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo, or Rivers.
  • The startup should have been operational for 6 months to 5 years.
  • Your venture should demonstrate innovation or potential impact in its sector (e.g. fintech, agritech, health-tech, edtech, green-tech, etc.).
