Jafa Foam is seeking an experienced and highly professional Human Resources Manager to lead HR and Administration function at our Business Unit in Kano.
- The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, deep HR expertise, and an understanding of Northern Nigerian business environment.
Key Requirements:
Experience :
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources and Administration, preferably within manufacturing or FMCG environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and other standard office productivity tools.
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) is a strong added advantage.
- Fluency in Hausa is mandatory.
- Solid understanding of Nigerian labour laws, regulatory compliance, and HR best practices.
- Familiarity with project management principles, HR policy implementation, and change management.
Demonstrated integrity, organisational skills, and a proven track record of excellence in HR and administrative leadership.
- Experience managing workforce issues common in Northern Nigeria, including union engagement, cultural diversity, and community relations.
- This role is best suited for candidates currently residing in Kano, as the company is unable to provide relocation support for applicants outside the location.
