Tech Revolution Africa, in partnership with MTN, invites applications from innovative startups to participate in the Tech Revolution Africa StartUp Fest 2026. 

  • This flagship startup showcase is designed to identify, support, and amplify early-stage African startups with high-growth potential, providing them with visibility, funding opportunities, and access to investors.
  • The StartUp Fest is a platform where founders can register, pitch their ideas, compete for seed funding, and connect with key players within Africa’s tech and innovation ecosystem. 

Selected startups will compete for $1,500 in seed funding, alongside strategic exposure to investors, partners, and ecosystem enablers.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Startups must be early-stage and innovation-driven

  • Businesses should be operating within the tech or tech-enabled space
  • Founders must be based in Africa or building solutions relevant to African markets
  • Applicants must be able to submit a pitch deck and participate in the pitch process
  • Startups must be registered to attend the conference under the startup category

Selection Process

  • Register to attend the conference in the startup category
  • Submit your pitch deck for review
  • A limited number of startups will be shortlisted
  • Shortlisted startups will pitch at the final pitch showdown during the StartUp Fest

Event Dates: January 30th–31st, 2026

  • Shortlisted startups will be notified ahead of the final pitch event
