Key Responsibilities
Create and publish news stories and multimedia content for online platforms and social media.
- Conduct research and fact checking to ensure accuracy and credibility.
- Carry out interviews and field reporting.
- Edit content and work with multimedia elements such as photos, audio and video.
- Monitor social media trends and engage audiences.
Broadcast Engineer
Requirements
Experience in FM and AM transmission.
Hands on experience with radio transmitters and antennas.
- Experience with live event production.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Background in electrical engineering or radio frequency systems.
- Ability to prioritise and resolve technical issues quickly.
- Flexibility to work in different broadcast environments.
- Strong willingness to learn new systems and processes.
Good knowledge of broadcast systems, health and safety protocols and workflows.
Programme Manager
Requirements
Experience in designing and managing programme schedules.
Ability to ensure programmes align with the vision and mission of the radio station.
- Ability to create high quality programmes that attract listeners.
- Ability to ensure presenters adhere to schedules without clashes.
- Ability to supervise programme quality and on air presentation standards.
- Ability to monitor performance and provide guidance for improvement.

- Ability to work effectively with presenters and other departments.

Good knowledge of and strict compliance with NBC codes.
Radio Station Administrator
Requirements

- Ability to translate news accurately from English to Hausa.
