Job Summary:
The Storekeeper is responsible for the proper receiving, storage, issuing, and documentation of all items in the store.
- The role ensures effective stock control, prevents losses, and guarantees timely availability of materials to support smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, check, and record all incoming goods and supplies.
- Ensure proper storage of items according to category and safety standards.
- Issue stock based on approved requisitions and maintain accurate records.
- Keep up-to-date inventory records using stock cards or inventory systems.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with records.
- Monitor stock levels and report low stock, damages, or expired items promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and security of the store at all times.
Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly stock reports as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum of BSC/HND/ONDor equivalent qualification.
Proven experience as a storekeeper or in inventory management is an advantage.
- Basic computer and record-keeping skills.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- High level of honesty, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Reporting To: Store Manager / Operations Manager
