- We provide evidence based advisory at a strategic level to a wide range of multi-lateral and bilateral donors, foundations, intemational and local NGOs, government departments and corporations.
- Particularly focus on youth employment, education, MNCH, SRH, trade and markets-systems development (particularly in agriculture and financial access), environment, governance, and cross-cutting climate and gender related work.
About The Role
The Data Support Officer will be responsible for conducting surveys with selected study participants according to the approved sampling plan and data collection protocol.
- Enumerators may also assist with identifying study participants, scheduling interviews, and supporting logistical coordination where necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Administering structured questionnaires using the designated digital data collection platform (e.g.. CommCare).
- Ensuring that all study participants provide informed consent before participating in the survey.
- Conducting interviews in a professional. respectful, and neutral manner.
- Ensuring accurate and complete recording of responses in the digital survey tool.
- Uploading completed surveys in a timely manner according to project guidelines.
- Reporting any challenges or inconsistencies encountered during fieldwork to supervisors.
- Adhering to all data protection, safeguarding, and ethical standards.
- Enumerator must comply with all Mastercard foundation safeguarding procedures.
Role Specifications
Ideal candidates should be early to mid-career field researchers with up to six (6) years of experience in survey data collection. or field research.
- Strong familiarity with digital data collection tools and fieldwork practices while remaining well suited to the intensive fieldwork schedules required during survey implementation.
- Due to the category of the respondents (Target population), we encourage candidates between ages 18 and 35 to apply.

- Enumerators must demonstrate a clear understanding of safeguarding principles and commit to upholding the organization's safeguarding policy while interacting with participants, particularly young and vulnerable individuals.
Enumerators must be willing to complete and sign a safeguarding self-declaration form and consent to applicable background checks.
