Our client is seeking a passionate LGA Consultant who will provide technical assistance to the Local Government Primary Health Care Department in the selected priority LGAs with planning, coordination, and implementation of quality polio campaigns as well as data management support to LGA teams, partners and other stakeholders.

Roles:

Supporting the planning, coordination, and implementation of high-quality polio campaigns, particularly in security-compromised and hard-to-reach areas. 

  • Selected candidates will also contribute to data management efforts and collaborate closely with LGA teams, partners, and key stakeholders to ensure effective program delivery.

Requirements:

Minimum of Higher National Diploma (HND) in sciences, social sciences, health or related fields.

  • Minimum of 1-5 years working experience.
  • Possess strong communication (oral and written) and report writing skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
  • Fluency in the local dialects of the geographic region is an added advantage.
  • Most be resident in the implementing states outlined above.
  • Experience working in hostile and security compromised location
  • Fluency in local dialects within the geographic area is considered an added advantage. 

Applicants must be residents of the implementing states and should have prior experience working in security-compromised or hostile environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the use of special intervention SOP for implementing quality campaigns in security compromised areas.

  • Engage with all LGA actors and partners (WHO, UNICEF, AFENET etc) to implement campaigns in security-compromised areas.
  • Ensure that GTS data is analyzed and reported on a daily basis with feedback provided to relevant teams and stakeholders.
  • Update the LGA special intervention activity tracker and provide daily feedback to the state consultant on level of campaign preparedness.
  • Support with the collation and validation of account details of teams involved in campaign implementation.
