Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship Program 2026 (Cohort IV) - $100,000 Equity-Free Funding for EdTech Startups
Applications are open for Cohort IV of the CcHub–Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship Program 2026, an innovation acceleration initiative that supports early-stage education technology (EdTech) startups with up to $100,000 in equity-free funding, mentorship, and ecosystem support.
This opportunity is ideal for founders building impactful, scalable technologies that improve learning outcomes and expand access to quality education across Africa.
- Organised by Co‑creation Hub (CcHUB) in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, this fellowship targets ventures innovating for learners who are often underserved by mainstream educational technology - including learners with disabilities, refugees, rural communities, and girls and women.
What the Fellowship Offers
Selected EdTech startups will receive:

- 12-month incubation and acceleration support

Are early-stage with a working product or prototype

- Are prepared to commit to a 12 - month accelerator journey and engagement with mentors and partners
- Startups building solutions for underserved learner groups - such as people with disabilities, rural learners, displaced populations, or girls and women - are especially encouraged to apply.
