NEYIF Training Program 2026 (Cohort One)
Applications are now open for the Graduate Training Programme Cohort One organised by North East Youth Initiative for Development.
The one-month intensive programme is designed to equip graduates with practical knowledge and essential soft skills needed to succeed in today’s competitive professional environment.
- The training programme aims to support young graduates who are passionate about advancing their knowledge, strengthening their employability skills and preparing for career opportunities in the modern workplace.
Training Areas
Participants will receive training in several areas designed to support career development and academic growth.
- The programme will cover an introduction to artificial intelligence, CV development and writing effective motivational and statement of purpose letters.
- Participants will also learn job application strategies, interview preparation techniques, and basic research knowledge.
- Additional sessions will focus on foreign scholarship opportunities as well as health, internet and social media literacy.
Benefits
Participants will learn directly from experienced professionals and gain hands-on practical skills that can improve their career readiness.
- Successful participants will receive a certificate of participation and a recommendation letter valid for two years.
- The programme also offers digital literacy training, potential job placement opportunities and membership in the ICO-HUB alumni network.
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must be graduates between the ages of 18 and 35.
- Applicants must also be residents of Damaturu and should have access to an Android phone.
- Women and persons living with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
Important Dates
- Applications will be accepted from March 14 to March 16, 2026.
- Candidate screening will take place on March 19, 2026.
- Successful applicants will be announced on March 22, 2026, while the training programme will begin on April 6, 2026
