Ethical Standards (Mandatory)

Given the sensitivity of the topic, the consultant must follow the highest ethical standards, including:

Responsibilities

Develop a detailed, context-appropriate research methodology (qualitative/quantitative/mixed methods)

Design data collection tools (questionnaires, interview guides, FGD frameworks, vox pops approach)
Conduct data collection through appropriate channels (online and/or in-person)
Ensure ethical compliance: informed consent, confidentiality, safeguarding
Manage and analyze data to identify key patterns and trends
Facilitate stakeholder validation (where needed)
Produce a structured research report with actionable recommendation's

Applicants must have:

Experience conducting social research (gender/SGBV/digital rights preferred)

Strong understanding of OGBV and safeguarding principles
Expertise in qualitative and/or quantitative research methods
Excellent analysis, report writing, and presentation skills
Prior experience with NGOs/development partners/community initiatives (added advantage)
A minimum of a Masters degree from a reputable institution.
