- Sundial Evaluators International (SEI) is inviting applications from qualified, experienced, and community-connected individuals to serve as Field Data Collectors for a large-scale baseline assessment in support of ActionAid Nigeria’s Citizens Action Against Poverty and Injustice (2024–2034) strategy.
- This important short-term engagement will be implemented across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, cutting across the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria.
- The baseline study is designed to generate credible and high-quality data that will inform interventions focused on building resilient communities, improving living standards, strengthening accountable governance, and enhancing organisational effectiveness over the next decade.
Successful candidates will play a critical role in gathering accurate and reliable field data using a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods.
- These include household surveys, Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs).
Field Data Collectors will be expected to engage respectfully with diverse populations, including marginalized and underserved groups, while upholding the highest ethical standards in data collection, confidentiality, and informed consent.
- Applicants should demonstrate prior experience in field research, data collection, or monitoring and evaluation assignments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in team settings and adapt to different cultural contexts.
- Proficiency in the use of digital data collection tools such as Kobo Collect and Google Forms is highly desirable.
Fluency in local languages relevant to the area of deployment will be considered a significant advantage.
- This role requires flexibility, integrity, and a willingness to travel within assigned locations. Selected candidates must be available to participate in mandatory virtual onboarding sessions and training prior to field deployment.
Only applicants who successfully complete the selection process will be invited to participate in the training.
