- The Youth Researcher role is a short-term, field-based contractor position open to candidates across all states in Nigeria.
- Selected individuals will play a critical role in conducting participatory research, including interviews, observations, and group discussions within their local communities.
- They will also contribute to documenting insights, identifying emerging themes, and supporting program design through real-time field feedback.
- This role requires individuals who are deeply connected to their communities, culturally aware, and able to engage people with empathy and respect.
Strong communication skills, curiosity, and attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to work both independently in the field and collaboratively in remote team settings.
Candidates should have at least two years of experience in research, monitoring and evaluation, community engagement, design, or related fields.
- Fluency in English and relevant local languages is important, as well as the ability to handle sensitive information ethically.
- The position offers a competitive compensation of up to $11 per hour, with monthly payments via bank transfer.
