NEYIF is a national non-profit humanitarian and development organisation established in 2013, with headquarters in Damaturu, Yobe State, and work across North-East and North-West Nigeria.
- Its mission focuses on peace, unity, community development, empowerment, and participatory engagement.
- NEYIF is a national non-profit, humanitarian and development organisation committed to promoting an inclusive society where individuals and communities can live peacefully, grow, and contribute meaningfully to development.
- Established in 2013, NEYIF works across North-East and North-West Nigeria, linking vulnerable and conflict-affected communities to support in education, health and nutrition, WASH, protection, livelihood, agriculture, governance, human rights, peacebuilding, empowerment, and community mobilisation.
- The 2nd Cohort Female Internship Programme is introduced as part of NEYIF’s commitment to capacity building, youth participation, and women’s empowerment.
- The programme provides young female graduates with practical exposure to humanitarian and development work, helping them build skills, understand community needs, and contribute to positive change in their states.
Through this voluntary internship, NEYIF aims to raise a new generation of committed young women who can support grassroots development and strengthen community service.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Female graduates (B.Sc / HND or equivalent in any discipline)
- Passion for humanitarian and development work
- Strong interest in community service and grassroots engagement
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and work in field/community settings
- Must be resident in North-East or North-West Nigeria (preferred)
