ITF-NECA Technical Skills Development Programme in collaboration with Nigerian Breweries presents the 12-month Technical Skills Development Programme
About the Programme:
- The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA), in collaboration with Nigerian Breweries Plc, invite application from qualified young Nigerians of sound character and learning potential to undertake an intensive 9-month training programme on Technical Skills Development in the fields of Mechanical/Automation Maintenance & Engineering, Quality Assurance and Logistics & Distribution.
Programme Objectives;
To train and equip youths with employable technical & science skills
- To promote a Public - Private Sector Model in Vocational / Technical Skills Training and contribute to capacity development of our country
Requirements:
- Credit in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
- Mechanical Engineering
Mechatronics Engineering Higher National Diploma of the following (For Mechatronics Packaging, Brewing & Utilities, Operations and Corrective Maintenance)
- Metallurgical Engineering.
- Industrial Maintenance Engineering.
- Electrical Engineering
- Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- Automation Engineering
- Production Engineering
- Industrial Physics
- Instrument Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- A minimum of Lower credit from recognized and accredited institutions.
National Diploma in any of the following For
Quality and Logistics Operations):
- Chemical Engineering
- Biological and Physical Sciences.
- Food Science Tech
- Laboratory Science
- Applied Physics.
- A minimum of Lower credit from recognized and accredited institutions.
- Must have completed NYSC as at time of this advertisement.
Programme offer:
Successful candidates will enjoy free tuition, Medicals, and lunch.
The programme is non-residential, with training at the Supply Chain Academy of Nigerian Breweries Plc located in Ibadan and attachment in any of our Brewery Locations in:
- Lagos, Aba, Ibadan, Enugu, Ota, Ijebu Ode and Kaduna.
Trainees will not be entitled to a salary during the period of training.
- They will only be entitled to a monthly stipend.
- This programme does not confer Nigerian Breweries employee status on the trainees.
Entrance Examination
Only short-listed candidates will be contacted for a test and will be expected to bring along the following:
- 2 Passport size photographs
- Original Birth Certificate
- Educational Qualification Certificate(s)
- Certificate of AI Fluency
- You Must have completed the AI Fluency Course on International Organization of Employers (IOE)
