Youth Social Media Advocates at YouthHubAfrica by Malala Fund
Are you a young advocate who already has the online capacity or has the potential to develop a strong digital presence and to drive important conversations around issues affecting young people?
- YouthHubAfrica, with support from the Malala Fund, is looking for Young Social Media Advocates to help amplify conversations and mobilise young people to end child marriage.
Eligibility
Applicants must be:-
- Between the ages of 18 and 30.
- Residents of the focal states. These are Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Kaduna, Kano, and the FCT
- Conversant with and willing to support and promote SSCE work and activities within their focal states.
- Available to attend a 3-day virtual training in July
- Able to demonstrate a verifiable and thriving online presence on any social media platforms, i.e., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc

Monthly stipends for content creation and campaigns
- Opportunities to participate in SSCE events in your state
- Training on social media advocacy and ending child marriage.
- Advocates will be invited to participate at Strengthening Systems and Communities to End Child Marriage (SSCE) events within their states.
