About the Role
The Communications Intern will support the communications team in shaping the company’s voice and visibility.
- You’ll contribute to content creation, storytelling, and media engagement, helping showcase portfolio companies and the broader impact investing ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Draft and schedule social media content (especially LinkedIn)
- Support development of press releases, media pitches, and press kits
- Assist with video and multimedia storytelling for portfolio companies
- Write blog posts and update website content
- Maintain content calendars and track engagement performance
- Provide administrative and coordination support (scheduling, reporting, documentation)
What We’re Looking For
Currently studying or recently graduated in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or related fields
- Strong writing and storytelling skills
- Interest in impact investing, private capital, or the West African startup ecosystem
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and social media tools
- Basic experience with design tools (Canva, Adobe) is an advantage
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Working knowledge of French is a plus
